🌟 The mismatch of aspirations and streams Especially the rural girls are more prone to the dilemmas then boys- According to the new report of ASER Around 60.5% of girls then 49.5% of boys are opting Arts and for STEM boys - 36.3%, girls  28.1% respectively . 📌Reason- ✍️Lack of counciling before opting the subjecs. ✍️Fear of missing out if they chose the different subjects from their fellow students. ✍️Lack of guidance and unclear vision, what they actually want to be in future. ✍️ Improper education system where the subject teachers are not so qualified in their subjects. ✍️ Sometimes the family pressure and societal aspirations with too many expectations creat the dilemma of choices. ✍️ Financial issues , STEM needs more of a practical and other anytical model based education which some can't afford. ✍️ The marksheet phobias where at last the most easy and scoring subject will get 90% then tough subjects "STEM" with 60 to 70% .
