पैदा होते ही फ़ीकी सी मुस्कान देख मैं रोई, कूड़े की चादर ओढ़े, आँसूओं की मालाएँ पिरोई। मिली किसी अनजान को,जिसने हृदय से मुझे लगाया, कहा मुझे प्यारी सी बिटिया, लाडो कहकर खिलखिलाया। तब जाकर माँ के स्पर्ष का कोमल ,एहसास मुझे हो आया, मेरे सर पर ममता का आँचल जैसे लहराया। बड़ी हुई,खेली-कूँदी और सखियों संग स्वांग रचाया। यसोदा जैसी मैया से मैने खूब लाड़ लड़ाया। समय का फेर फिर बदला छूटा मैया का साथ। लो बड़ी हो गई मैं भी अब तो ,छूटे सारे अरमान। रोका सबने टोका मुझको,तुम कहीं न बाहर जाना। ओढ़ ये घूंघट मर्यादा का, रीत निष्ठा से निभाना। यहाँ गिरी,फिर वहां गिरी ठोकरें मिली हज़ार। न थमा ये ढोंग मर्यादा का, रूढ़ियों की चली तलवार। न कदम रखे, घर के बाहर,न देखी बाहर की दुनिया। बस चार दिवारी घर ही कि बन गयी अब तो मेरी दुनिया। ऐसे मत पहनों,चलो अदब से,देख समाज गुरर्राएगा। हँसो आहिस्ता, बैठो ढंग से तभी अदब तुममें समाएगा। वो बुरी नज़र, वो बुरा व्यवहार उनका है जन्मसिद्ध अधिकार। तुम तो हो समझदार ,बस संभल कर तुम्हे ही रहना है। ज्यादा न कुछ तुमको बेटा इस दुनिया से कहना है। निःशब्द रहो....बेटा , इस दुनिया से कुछ न कहना है.......

I have failed in CSIR JRF NET June  2021.  It is very tough to handle failures in life especially when people admire you, look up to you, and see you as their inspiration.
