The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, 2016 is a critical topic for the UPSC Civil Services Examination, particularly under GS Paper II (Social Justice and Governance) . ✅The Yangtze river only runs through the country of China, though it begins in the Tibetan plains.. It is one of the only major rivers in the world to run through one nation.

🟡Where does the Yangtze River begin and end?
✅The Yangtze river begins in the Tibetan mountains at Mount Tanggula and courses the length of China from west to east. It ends at the East China Sea, near the city of Shanghai.

🟡Does the Yangtze River have another name?
✅The Yangtze is also called the Chang Jiang river in China, which translates to "long river." Other languages may translate the name to "child of the ocean."

✅The Yangtze River flows for 6,300km, more than halfway across China. Its river basin is around 1.8 million sq km – almost a fifth of China's land area.
